Summary: HLB Gross Collins, P.C. is currently seeking a Spring 2027 Tax Intern to join their Kennesaw, GA office. The internship offers opportunities to learn and grow in public accounting while collaborating with professionals to assist clients with complex business issues and gain real-world experience. Responsibilities: - Work on a variety of client engagements in various industries - Prepare state and federal tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other businesses - Identify and assess domestic and international tax matters - Research tax laws, rules, and regulations; analyze their application to engagements - Review data entry to reconcile technical tax issues - Research business and industry trends to assist in proposal development - Develop proficiency with various tax software - Grow and learn under a dedicated mentor - Collaborate and network with staff, managers, and partners Required Qualifications: - Junior or Senior pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or related field - Major and overall minimum GPA of 3.3/4.0 - Curious about learning new things, and proactively seeks guidance and feedback - Takes on challenges and sees tasks through to completion - Willing and able to work additional hours, as needed - Proficient computer and technical skills including Microsoft Office Suite - Exemplary verbal and written communication skills - Ability to provide excellent service to every client Required Skills: Tax Preparation, Tax Research, Microsoft Office, Client Service Internship Start Date: Start in 2027 Spring
