Spring 2027 Tax Internship at HLB Gross Collins, P.C. in Atlanta, GA

Summary: HLB Gross Collins is currently seeking Tax Interns to join us at our Atlanta and Kennesaw offices. The internship position is a general introduction to public accounting, providing opportunities to learn and grow by working on client engagements and preparing tax returns. Responsibilities: - Work on a variety of client engagements in various industries - Prepare state and federal tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other businesses - Identify and assess domestic and international tax matters - Research tax laws, rules, and regulations; analyze their application to engagements - Review data entry to reconcile technical tax issues - Research business and industry trends to assist in proposal development - Develop proficiency with various tax software - Grow and learn under a dedicated mentor - Collaborate and network with staff, managers, and partners Required Qualifications: - Junior or Senior pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or related field - Major and overall minimum GPA of 3.3/4.0 - Curious about learning new things, and proactively seeks guidance and feedback - Takes on challenges and sees tasks through to completion - Willing and able to work additional hours, as needed - Proficient computer and technical skills including Microsoft Office Suite - Exemplary verbal and written communication skills - Ability to provide excellent service to every client Required Skills: Tax Preparation, Tax Research, Microsoft Office Suite, Client Service Internship Start Date: Start in 2027 Spring
