Project Engineer

Location: Bangkok, Thailand

Position Summary/Objectives of Incumbent:

Serve as the primary contact responsible in Project Accounting (PA) module, the overall outlook in project management such as technical and engineering that including of financial path should be under control in project management skill. Project Engineer will be taking action in the Project manager to control subordinate/subcontractor as working together.

Major activities to be performed:

• Obtain complete knowledge of Data Center and/or SOW by solutions from Sale/Pre-Sale team.
• Generally speaking, a Project Engineer, upon assignment, who takes care of any Project or Standard Order work, with an OPF (Order Processing Form) Number given and irregardless of how big or small its size is, must act and perform as Project Manager (PM) of that OPF/Project Number.
• Effectively Perform Management Functions (POLC = Planning x Organizing x Leading x Controlling) to make sure that an assigned project work will be successfully executed and the Desired Results will be achieved
• Check and verify the following – by comparing between what are required by the customer’s Acceptance proceeding, process & procedures and what are required or stated in the Contract/PO (Purchase Order), ToR, BOQ and VO
• Administrate each and every Variance, Deviation, or Gap found in BoQs (As-Built/Installation vs for-Construction vs PO Drawings). The following are where the gaps more likely found
• Develop and produce Inspection and Test Plan (ITP)
• Following the ITP, execute each and every work as planned. Adjust the ITP if necessary.
• Make sure that Security, Health and Safety Policy, Process & Procedure, and Best Practices, and Site Rules & Regulations are well communicated to each and every project team, staff, subcontractors, workers, customer(s), consultant(s), and etc, must be conducted as planned
• Project Document Control Process & Procedure, make sure that all project documents are well taken care, properly handled and controlled
• Perform project administrative tasks related to planning, forecasting and realization of Sales/Revenue, Billing (+Unbilled), Project Closing, as well as deviation or gap analysis (Actual Result vs Intended/Desired Result, if any)
• Act and perform as a supervisor, overseeing the day-to-day performance of Subcontractors, Suppliers, Service Engineers. Make sure that the people under your supervision.

Project Handover and Closure, it is the point in the project management lifecycle when the completed tasks are being transferred to the deliverable owner, the customer and/or the end-user, including the Warranty Service Operations team.
