Full Stack Engineer

Summary: HHAeXchange is the leading technology platform for home and community-based care, and they are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to improve the experience of caregivers and families. The role involves working across the full stack, contributing to the design and implementation of APIs and microservices, and integrating generative AI into agency management software. Responsibilities: - Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of APIs and microservices that enable robust functionality and seamless integrations - Gain hands-on expertise in frontend with Angular and backend with Go, while optimizing cloud infrastructure for efficient scaling - Incorporate generative AI into our agency management software, boosting usability and efficiency to create intuitive experiences that users love - Encourage exploration of new technologies, tools, and approaches to continually enhance our platform for better user outcomes - Evaluate priorities, options, and tradeoffs to inform key development choices that advance our goals - Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to gather requirements, align on objectives, and deliver features that exceed expectations - Develop and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests to uphold high standards of software reliability Required Qualifications: - 0-4 years of experience in software engineering roles building on modern architectures and frameworks - Proficiency in one reactive JavaScript framework, such as Angular, React, or Vue - Experience with backend-development, such as Go, NodeJS, or Python - Experience in PostgreSQL/MongoDB - Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools - Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Flexible, team player - Ability to organize and plan work independently - Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment Preferred Qualifications: - Knowledge of JIRA/Confluence is a plus - Healthcare experience and familiarity with HL7 and FHIR interoperability standards is a plus - Willingness to explore and adopt AI tools responsibly to enhance productivity and innovation in your role Required Skills: Angular, React, Vue, Go, NodeJS, Python, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, CI/CD pipelines, JIRA, Confluence, HL7 interoperability, FHIR interoperability, Generative AI tools, Analytical skills, Independent work Benefits: Competitive health plans, Paid time-off, Company paid holidays, 401K retirement program with a Company elected match, Other company sponsored programs
