Summary: Hewlett Packard Enterprise is the global edge-to-cloud company advancing the way people live and work. They are seeking a Wireless QA/Automation Engineer to set and maintain quality standards for company products through systematic processes and develop software test strategies and plans. Responsibilities: - Build and maintain system testbeds using Access Points, networking devices, and servers - Perform QA validation of 802.11 wireless standards and proprietary features - Conduct end-to-end validation of client-to-cloud architecture - Recreate customer-reported issues in lab environments and collaborate with global engineering teams to drive resolution - Execute performance testing using tools like iPerf, ixChariot, etc - Partner with the Customer Support (CS) team to review defect reports and enhance test coverage - Log and track bugs in Jira, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution - Escalate critical issues promptly to relevant stakeholders - Create and maintain technical documentation in Confluence for CS and QA teams - Mentor and train Level 1/2 Engineers on emerging wireless technologies Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent - 0-2 years' experience - Basic knowledge of 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be protocol standards - Hands-on experience with wireless access point validation - Basic understanding of routing and switching concepts (VLAN, DHCP, DNS, NAT) - Strong problem-solving skills in fast-paced, technical environments - Scripting experience in Python Preferred Qualifications: - CWNA, CWSP, or CWAP certification - Experience with ISE or ClearPass - Basic knowledge of L2TPv3/IPsec protocols Required Skills: 802.11 protocol standards, Wireless access point validation, Scripting in Python Important Skills: Routing, switching concepts, ISE, ClearPass experience Nice-to-Have Skills: Agile Methodology, Analytical Thinking, Coaching, Cross-Functional Teamwork Benefits: Health & Wellbeing, Personal & Professional Development
