Job Description
Summary: Hewlett Packard Enterprise is the global edge-to-cloud company advancing the way people live and work. They are seeking a Software Engineer Graduate to join the Packet Forwarding Software Team, focusing on developing networking applications and features for their Data Center Cloud Networking Segment.
Responsibilities:
- Design & Develop the packet forwarding features such as L2/L3, EVPN-VXLAN, Routing, Firewall, QoS and other protocols
- Develop networking applications in object-oriented paradigm using the latest open source tools
- Work on sustaining existing products/features
- Assist in solving complex in-house testing issues and customer reported real world networking problem
- Software Feature Development in 'C' & 'C++'
- Work across Dev, PLM, Systest and Documentation teams
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of BS in CS/EE with work experience preferred
- Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm and object-oriented design, problem solving, data structures, and complexity analysis
- Work as a team player
- Proficient in C/C++ programming
- Solid understand on computer networking(TCP/IP), operating system, algorithm
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Good communication skills and team player
Preferred Qualifications:
- MS degree is a plus
- Prior industry experience in software engineer is a plus
- Knowing script language like Python is a plus
- Hands-on experience on embedded system development, GDB, multi-threading programming is a plus
