Job Description
Summary: Hewlett Packard Enterprise is the global edge-to-cloud company advancing the way people live and work. The role involves partnering with R&D and New Product Introduction Supply Chain groups to introduce new products into worldwide production while contributing to engineering projects and implementing process improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Partners with R&D and New Product Introduction (NPI) Supply Chain groups to successfully introduce new products into world-wide production
- Contributes to assignments of limited scope by applying technical concepts and theoretical knowledge acquired through specialized training, education, or previous experience
- Acts as team member by providing information, analysis and recommendations in support of team efforts
- Exercises independent judgment within defined parameters
- Participates as a member of project team of other product engineers to develop and execute reliable, cost effective and high quality manufacturing solutions for products from new- product introduction through end of lifecycle
- Implements specified changes to product or process to reduce defects, improve quality, and lower costs
- Develops understanding of and relationship with internal and outsourced partners for product development and manufacturing
Required Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor's Degree related to engineering or manufacturing, preferred; or equivalent work experience
- Typically 0-2 years experience
- Working in a collaborative environment
- Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams
- Shelf motivated
- Knowledge of HPE products and Agile to support R/D design documentation
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language
