Summary: HERE Technologies is a location data and technology platform company. They are seeking a Software Engineer Intern to support the development and implementation of machine learning features for their dynamic content product, working alongside data scientists and engineers. Responsibilities: - Working with data scientist, architect, and researcher engineers to support the new Multiple Industry organization dynamic content product ML features development and implementation - Data collection, filtering, analysis, and algorithm implementation - Probe and sensor data analysis to improve our overall dynamic product quality - Support the intersection travel time analysis using probe data and ML algorithm development - Origin/Destination Trips modeling - Intersection modeling Required Qualifications: - Undergraduate students in CS or CE or other Engineering area - Proven ability to quickly prototype in languages like Python, Java/Java Script, Scala, JDBC, Tableau - Experience in Amazon Web Services, Glue, IceBerg, ECS/EKS, Athena, Redshift, Sage maker will be a big plus - Solid experience in developing new research ideas and implementing prototype systems in timely manner - Ability to efficiently write technical reports and communicate results - High motivation team player Required Skills: Python, Java, Amazon Web Services Important Skills: Scala, Data analysis Nice-to-Have Skills: Technical reports Benefits: Health (Medical/Dental/Vision) insurance, Retirement savings plans
