Summary: HERE Technologies is a location data and technology platform company. They are seeking a Software Engineer Intern to support the development and implementation of machine learning features for their dynamic content product, working closely with data scientists and researchers. The intern will engage in data collection, analysis, and algorithm implementation to improve product quality. Responsibilities: - Working with data scientist, architect, and researcher engineers to support the new Multiple Industry organization dynamic content product ML features development and implementation - Data collection, filtering, analysis, and algorithm implementation - Probe and sensor data analysis to improve our overall dynamic product quality - Support the intersection travel time analysis using probe data and ML algorithm development - Origin/Destination Trips modeling - Intersection modeling Required Qualifications: - Undergraduate students in CS or CE or other Engineering area - Proven ability to quickly prototype in languages like Python, Java/Java Script, Scala, JDBC, Tableau, experience in Amazon Web Services, Glue, IceBerg, ECS/EKS, Athena, Redshift, Sage maker will be a big plus - Solid experience in developing new research ideas and implementing prototype systems in timely manner - Ability to efficiently write technical reports and communicate results - High motivation team player Required Skills: Python, Java/JavaScript, Amazon Web Services Important Skills: Data analysis, Machine Learning Benefits: Health (Medical/Dental/Vision) insurance, Retirement savings plans
