Summary: Henry Schein, Inc. is seeking an Internal Audit Summer Intern to perform various tasks and projects that meet the needs of the department. The intern will execute quarterly sales cutoff procedures, assist with external auditor's year-end audit, and participate in financial and SOX compliance audit projects. Responsibilities: - Executes quarterly sales cutoff procedures for proper accounting treatment, including ensuring that equipment revenue is recorded in the correct period and properly supported by underlying documentation - Assists with various substantive procedures to support external auditor’s year-end audit - Assists with executing financial and SOX compliance audit projects, including documenting and discussing audit results with audit managers - Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required Required Qualifications: - Good time management - Attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to plan and arrange activities - Interpersonal communication skills - Good verbal and written skills - Ability to maintain confidential and highly sensitive information - Ability to work in a team environment - Ability to multi-task - Typically High School education, vocational training and/or on-the-job training - Pursuing a degree in Accounting or other related field Required Skills: Accounting, SOX compliance audit, Financial audit procedures, Sales cutoff procedures, Audit documentation Benefits: Work from Home
