As a PCT, you'll play a vital role in providing essential clinical and non-clinical support to patients under the supervision of nursing staff. Your work directly contributes to the comfort, safety, and well-being of patients, ensuring they receive compassionate and high-quality care. What You Will Do
- Assist with the movement and placement of patients to ensure their comfort and safety.
- Support patients with personal care and activities of daily living, promoting their independence and dignity.
- Observe and report changes in patients physical, mental, and emotional conditions to the nursing staff.
- Maintain clean and orderly patient rooms and ensure medical equipment is properly cared for.
- Document necessary records to support patient care and communication among the healthcare team.
Qualifications
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Preferred Qualifications
- Nurse Aide credentialed from the Michigan Nurse Aide Registry.
