Qualifications
**What You'll Need to Bring to the Table**
**Required Qualifications**
Here's what we're looking for—and we think you might just have it!
- A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent (or the international equivalent if you're coming from abroad)
- One of the following that shows you're ready to jump in:
- Completion of a Nurse Assistant program (like Patient Care Technician or Patient Assistant Technician), OR
- Current enrollment in a nursing program with successful completion of Fundamentals of Nursing, OR
- A foreign-trained and licensed RN without a Michigan RN license yet, OR
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program (with or without experience), OR
- At least one year of hands-on experience in a similar patient care role
- Willingness to complete BLS Heart Saver Certification during your orientation (we'll support you through it!)
**Preferred Qualifications**
- CNA certification—it's a great bonus if you've got it, but not a deal-breaker!
