Job Description
Summary: Henkel is an organization that’s shaping the future through innovation, sustainability, and collaboration. They are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to maintain technical knowledge, improve engineering processes, and ensure quality products are delivered on time.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of technical development and trends in the field of expertise
- Strives for improvements and efficiencies in Engineering area
- Executes engineering processes ensuring that quality products are delivered on-time at competitive cost
- Liaises with other stakeholders in order to provide professional support and advice
- Monitors KPIs for engineering processes
Required Qualifications:
- one to three years related engineering experience and/or training
- Experience with machine motion control systems, mechanics, electronics and software
- Mechanical skills and aptitude a plus. (Welding, machining, understanding of metallurgy)
- Knowledge of control drives and PLC's, relay and sensor types
Preferred Qualifications:
- Engineering degree (Mechanical or Chemical Engineering preferred) from four-year college or university
- Project management and Lean Manufacturing experience a plus
