Summary: Helios Investments LLC is a California-based alternative asset trading firm specializing in structured and proprietary trading. The company is seeking university students and recent graduates for a Market Operations & Trading Internship involving purchasing workflows, transaction execution, and scheduled market operations sessions in a remote environment.
Responsibilities:
- Structured onboarding covering Helios’s business model, purchasing processes, technology, and session workflows
- Hands-on training and mentorship from the Helios team
- Participate in scheduled purchasing sessions on behalf of Helios
- Focus primarily on the purchasing side of transactions, operating under partner direction and approval
- Follow established purchasing criteria, budgets, and session procedures
- Participate in approximately 10–16 sessions per month
- Ability to comfortably operate multiple applications, browser windows, and workflows simultaneously
Required Qualifications:
- • Current university student or recent graduate
- • Interested in investments, markets, business, or alternative assets
- • Highly proficient with technology and comfortable learning new platforms quickly
- • Strong multitasker capable of working across multiple applications and workflows simultaneously
- • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes
- • Reliable, disciplined, and responsive
- • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- • Able to make timely decisions while following established purchasing guidelines
- • Mac computer with an Apple M1 chip or newer
- • 2020 model year or newer
- • Reliable high-speed internet connection
- • Ability to comfortably operate multiple applications, browser windows, and workflows simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications:
- Finance or business experience is helpful, but not required
