Job Description
Overview
The Collections Specialist plays a crucial role in managing financial transactions, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining positive relationships with our valued customers. This position supports multiple sales offices across the United States, focusing on tracking, obtaining, and accurately recording payments.
Applicants within a reasonable commuting distance to any of our e3 Diagnostics offices will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Perform reconciliation of payments and customer accounts and communicate discrepancies to management team, identify slow-paying customers, and identify collection candidates.
- Become expert in our OneDiagnostic computer system (Navision) while responding to customers and field sales teams.
- Provide excellent customer service with face-to-face, verbal, and written communication while working in a collaborative and team environment.
- Gather and verify invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment.
- Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared.
- Monitor and collect accounts receivable by contacting clients via telephone, email, and mail.
- Support other accounting and finance team members with credit rebills.
- Exercise integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting and comply with national and local financial requirements.
- All other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least one year experience in a related field.
Travel:
- This position is subject to travel up to 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
