Job Description
Summary: HealthPartners is a nonprofit, integrated health care organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of patients and communities. They are seeking an Oncology Clinical Research Coordinator to support clinical research studies, coordinate daily operations, and provide direction to research support staff, contributing to the advancement of cancer research and patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provides support and assistance in the conduct of clinical research studies in accordance with federal and institutional guidelines
- Coordinates and provides direction to daily operations of clinical studies
- Coordinates research studies of minimal to moderate complexity and may deliver patient care to study participants
- Provides direction to research support staff as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited medical assistant or LPN program plus at least 1 year health care experience in a related field or bachelor's degree in related field or associate degree and at least one year research experience
- MOA certification or LPN license required if applicable
- Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients
- Proven proficiency in the operation of the following: Personal Computer, Telephone, Fax Machine, Photocopier, Printer, and electronic medical record
Preferred Qualifications:
- ACRP Clinical Research Coordinator Certification desirable
- Highly organized individual with strong communication skills and problem-solving skills
- Medical terminology and basic knowledge of research and data management systems
