Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg Job

Overview Registered Nurse – Med Surg/Telemetry (Cardiac) travel assignment in Rochester, NY, starting 08/17/2026 for several weeks. Shift is 3x12 Nights. Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for adults and geriatrics on a MS/Telemetry unit with a cardiac focus
• Monitor telemetry, identify and manage dysrhythmias; interpret EKGs and respond appropriately
• Administer medications, start and manage peripheral IV lines, and monitor infusion therapies
• Deliver oxygen therapy and non-invasive airway support as needed
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and utilize rapid response/code protocols when indicated
• Document care in EPIC accurately and timely; maintain charting integrity
• Work with PCTs for vitals, glucose checks, EKGs, and ADL assistance as assigned
• Adhere to isolation precautions and PPE guidelines to ensure patient and staff safety

Requirements

• Active NY RN license in hand to submit
• BLS certification; NIHSS certification as required per job notes
• Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience in Medical-Surgical and/or Telemetry; Cardiac unit experience preferred
• EPIC charting experience is required
• Ability to float within scope to like units and support patient care needs
