Job Description
Summary: HDR is a company that values employee engagement and inclusion, and they are seeking a Power Delivery Intern to contribute to the development of sustainable power systems. The intern will work alongside experienced engineers, gaining hands-on experience while supporting various projects in the power sector.
Responsibilities:
- Offer real-world experience on exciting projects
- Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs
- Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures
- Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager
- Perform other duties as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
- Attention to detail
- Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
Preferred Qualifications:
- An emphasis on Civil or Mechanical Engineering in studies is strongly preferred
- Interest in power delivery, overhead distribution/transmission
- Prefer minimum of 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
