Electrical BIM Intern at HDR in Kansas City, MO

In the role of Electrical BIM Intern, you will gain real-world experience on commercial and industrial building projects while assisting in the development of construction documents using BIM software.

Responsibilities:
- Gain real-world experience on exciting commercial and industrial building projects by applying standard engineering techniques and knowledge of BIM software such as Revit
- Work under the guidance and direct supervision of a senior level BIM Designer to assist in the development of construction documents utilizing BIM software such as Revit
- Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals’ programs
- Perform other duties as needed

Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
- Attention to detail
- Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications:
- For Bachelor's Degree students, prefer 2+ years completed towards degree with 3.0+ GPA
- For Associate Degree students, prefer 1 year completed towards degree with 3.0+ GPA
- Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry
- Preference given to local candidates
