Job Description
Job Summary
Design, develop, optimize, and support large-scale data platforms, distributed database systems, and analytics solutions across relational and NoSQL ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Big Data and NoSQL database solutions using document, graph, and column-family databases.
- Build and maintain scalable data engineering pipelines and database platforms.
- Design, implement, and support relational and non-relational database systems.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries for high-performance data processing and reporting.
- Work with Big Data technologies such as HBase, Hive, BigTable, BigQuery, and GCP data services.
- Create and maintain data models using tools such as ErStudio and ErWin.
- Develop reporting and analytical solutions using Tableau and Power BI.
- Support OLTP and OLAP database environments.
- Implement database administration best practices including replication, high availability, encryption, and disaster recovery.
- Analyze and improve distributed system performance and scalability.
- Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams following software development best practices.
- Design infrastructure components and storage solutions to ensure optimal database performance and reliability.
- Develop XML/JSON schemas and support data integration initiatives.
- Support production databases through monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and maintenance activities.
