a variety of spring internship positions. Take advantage of on the

Job Description

Read script and speak with scriptwriter to better understand the vision of the film

Assist with filming and editing video segments.

Coordinates production planning activities.

Utilizes computer graphics and special effects for video post-production in accordance with the overall production concepts

Compresses video projects for output; make video products available in a variety of formats; and coordinates internal and external duplication services as required.

Experiment with different styles and techniques of graphic design

Oversee the quality of all audio and video editing

Ensure the film has a logical sequence and plays smoothly

Insert music or sound affects as needed

Qualifications

A passion for women’s economic opportunities.

Comfortable with ambiguity and able to work autonomously.

Flexible; ability to adapt to changing priorities and multiple tasks.

Must have access to film production and editing equipment.

Familiarity with video production equipment and software.

Interest in filming and editing video segments.

College level coursework in video production.

Knowledge of video production procedures, practices, techniques, and terminology; principles of analog and digital video capture.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work well with a variety of personalities.

Ability to take initiative and must have the confidence to learn in a “live” environment.

Must be reliable with excellent organizational skills and very strong attention to detail.
