Summary: Harris Teeter is a grocery retail company seeking a Part Time Daytime Grocery Stock Clerk. The role focuses on customer service, processing, packaging, stocking, and maintaining grocery products and work areas while supporting store operations and team sales efforts.

Responsibilities:
- Take Excellent Care Of Our Customers by satisfying each customer's needs and exceeding their expectations
- Processing/packaging/stocking products according to Grocery Standards
- Cleaning work areas
- Providing customer service
- Unloading stock
- Reloading salvage

Required Qualifications:
- Associates must be at least 16 years of age
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos [in English]
- Ability to write simple correspondence [in English]
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, vendors, and other associates of the organization who only speak English
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Complete Company's training including but not limited to: new hire orientation, customer service network, safety, and product knowledge
