Engineer audio systems and integrated technology platforms that augment the driving experience Combine ingenuity, in-depth research, and a spirit of collaboration with design and engineering excellence Advance in-vehicle infotainment, safety, efficiency, and enjoyment About the Role This position is part of HARMAN Automotive’s Ready Care R&D organization, focused on delivering production‑ready in‑cabin camera and radar features (such as driver monitoring, child presence detection and occupant classification) that enhance safety and well‑being for drivers and passengers. You will leverage your strong programming skills and solid grasp of AI/ML fundamentals to develop novel solutions using deep learning and classical algorithms for signal, image, and video processing. You will work with data, deep learning models, and evaluation pipelines in a real automotive product development environment. What You Will Do Contribute towards development of new technologies, while exploring new ML tools and technologies Analyse datasets, run experiments, and benchmark model performance Build and deploy novel proof-of-concept demonstration systems Document results and share insights with the team What You Need to Be Successful Strong programming skills in python Familiarity with Pytorch and relevant libraries for data science Strong conceptual understanding of deep learning and signal processing or computer vision Prior internship experience and/or research publications is a strong plus What Makes You Eligible Currently pursuing / finishing a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in CS, ECE, EE, or related fields from a reputed institution Strong academic performance and/or prior internship/research publication Internship duration will be between 6-11 months, fully onsite in Bangalore What We Offer An inclusive and diverse work environment that fosters and encourages professional and personal development. #LI-KN1 HARMAN is proud to be an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
