Embedded Firmware Engineer at Harita Techserv in Bengaluru

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Embedded Firmware Engineer to design and develop firmware for industrial actuation products. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Embedded C/C++, RTOS, microcontrollers, and communication protocols, with hands-on experience in firmware design, integration, and testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded firmware for industrial products.
• Develop Software Requirement Specifications (SRS) from product requirements.
• Design firmware architecture and implement robust software solutions.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and test automation.
• Conduct design verification and debugging using analysis tools.
• Work closely with Hardware and Mechanical teams for product integration.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams to ensure quality deliverables.
• Maintain project schedules and firmware documentation.
• Follow organizational design and development processes.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Embedded C/C++.
• Firmware architecture and structured software design.
• Experience with 32-bit Microcontrollers (STM32, NXP, Microchip).
• Hands-on experience with RTOS (FreeRTOS or similar).
• Knowledge of communication protocols: UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP.
• Experience in Device Driver Development.
• Knowledge of MISRA C Guidelines.
• Debugging using tools such as BusMaster or Docklight.

Preferred Skills

• IoT device development.
• Wireless technologies: Zigbee, LoRa, HART, NFC.
• Motor control/driver development.
• LCD/LED display interface development.
• EMI/EMC compliance knowledge.
• Basic understanding of hardware and PCB design.
• Exposure to industrial actuator products.
