Summary: Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking a Finance/Accounting Intern to assist the Finance and Accounting Team with various administrative tasks. The role involves responsibilities such as data entry, organizing documents, and scheduling meetings under general supervision. Responsibilities: - Scanning and filing paper and electronic documents - Data entry of budget information and other data processing as necessary - Organizing Certificates of Insurance and contracts - Scheduling meetings - Assisting with special projects Required Qualifications: - Current enrollment in Bachelor or Master level coursework (Business, Accounting, Finance) from an accredited university is required - GPA: 2.47 required - Knowledge and application of company standards - Knowledge of office administration procedures - Extreme attention to detail - Ability to work in a fast paced environment, and extreme multi-tasking - Ability to analyze data, make judgments and develop reports - Ability to maintain effective working relationships with teammates, clients, and vendors - Ability to be discreet in dealing with sensitive situations and maintain confidentiality in all areas - Excellent organizational skills - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to listen and ascertain the needs of teammates - Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and other software as needed - Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time Required Skills: Microsoft Excel, Data analysis Important Skills: Office administration Nice-to-Have Skills: Multi-tasking Benefits: Paid time off, Health insurance benefits, Matching retirement contributions, Paid holidays, Personal paid time off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability insurance, 401(k), Other benefits
