Job Description
Summary: HarbourVest Partners is a global firm that values diversity and innovative thinking, fostering a collaborative culture. They are seeking a Portfolio Analytics Intern to provide analytical and project support to their team, contributing to the tracking of performance and custom reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily communication across all investment strategies
- Acquire documents from General Partners and enter information into our proprietary database
- Follow up with General Partners regarding any missing/clarification of information
- Supporting new and ongoing project work
- Other responsibilities as required
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities and drive
- Familiar with financial/investment terms and concepts
- Excellent communication, organization and writing skills
- Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to quickly troubleshoot problems that may arise in work products
- Able to efficiently and accurately handle and process tasks while meeting specific deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current student pursuing a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business/Finance or equivalent experience

Benefits: This position will be a hybrid work arrangement. You will receive 18 remote workdays per quarter to use at your discretion, subject to manager approval. For example, you may choose to work in the office 4 days per week and take one remote day weekly (typically 13 weeks per quarter), leaving 5 additional remote days to be used as needed., All interns will participate in a curriculum designed to provide broader insights on private markets and the industry as a whole (e.g., the economics of the private equity business, trends in Environmental Social Governance (ESG) investing, understanding different client segments)., Our team aims to be flexible with each student’s class schedule to ensure they get the most out of this opportunity!
