BACKEND DEVELOPER (NODEJS)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and software features.
• Collaborate with managers and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize APIs to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Build reusable code, libraries, and components for future development.
• Design and work with SQL and NoSQL databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.
• Implement security best practices and data protection measures.
• Collaborate with the IT team to propose and develop new features that improve internal products and user experience.
• Maintain technical documentation and project wikis.
• Continuously explore new technologies and improve development practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Graduates from the University of Science (VNUHCM), University of Information Technology (VNUHCM), Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (VNUHCM), or other reputable technical universities are a plus.
• At least 2 years of experience in software development, with hands-on experience in Node.js.
• Proficiency in Node.js and familiarity with Express.js. Experience with Apollo Server is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, with the ability to write and optimize complex queries. Experience with MongoDB is a plus.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization technologies.
• Good understanding of Git and version control workflows.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of data structures, including string and array manipulation.
• Proactively explore and apply AI tools to improve development efficiency, code quality, debugging, and problem-solving, while critically evaluating AI-generated outputs.
• Understand user needs and business objectives, proactively identify opportunities for improvement, and prioritize technical solutions that deliver meaningful product value.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly, adapt to changes, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
