Job Description
As a seasonal Forms Development Specialist, you will play a key role in reproducing substitute tax forms across multiple tax systems. Your responsibilities will include developing and formatting these forms to ensure they comply with the guidelines and requirements established by relevant government agencies. You will also support the Regulatory team by updating and preparing tax forms for integration into tax software.
Day to day, you’ll…
Typeset and proofread tax forms for input into tax software using in-house typeset software
Conduct the final check on forms prior to sending for approval
Research questions on forms and/or problems with in-house software
Track form progress using tracking software
Assist with preparing packages sent for forms approval
Attend daily and weekly team meetings
Utilize specifications for each individual state/entity
Assist with writing and editing training and software manuals as needed
Other duties as assigned
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Work Experience:
- Ability to interpret state specifications as they relate to our forms
- Ability to pass assessments to demonstrate excellent computer skills
- Ability to perform under stress in a fast-paced environment and quickly adapt to change
- Ability to work independently or on a team
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Windows, and Adobe Professional software
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
Education:
- Associate’s degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience.
