Project Engineer Internship at H&K Group, Inc. in Skippack, PA

Summary: H&K Group, Inc. is a dynamic group of vertically integrated companies that provides heavy civil contracting and construction materials solutions. They are seeking a project engineer intern to create 3D Solidworks models, detailed layout drawings, and assist with project site assessments. Responsibilities: - Creating 3D Solidworks models and detailed layout drawings based on project contract drawings - Creating drawings for the in-house fabrication shop - Laser scanning new and existing sites for as-built dimensions - 3D printing scale models of projects for Project Engineers and Owners - Attending weekly project meetings - Occasional trade shows - Project site visits will be required intermittently, as needed for assessing as-build conditions before and throughout projects Required Qualifications: - Earned or pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Project Engineering from an accredited university - Proficient use of Solidworks or other 3D CAD software (CSWA/CSWP preferred) - Problem solving - Strong computer skills - Independent work ethic - Detail oriented Preferred Qualifications: - Basic knowledge of 3D Laser scanning (Trimble Realworks) and 3D printing (Raise3D/IdeaMaker) technologies preferred - Coursework or experience in water or wastewater industry preferred Required Skills: Solidworks, 3D CAD software, 3D Laser scanning, 3D printing, Water industry knowledge, Wastewater industry knowledge, Computer skills, Independent work ethic Benefits: Great Benefits offered!
