Job Description
Summary: Gymshark is expanding its operations by opening its first public gym in Wynwood, Miami. As a Gym Operations Lead, you will oversee daily gym execution, ensure a positive member experience, and lead a team to uphold the brand's values of empowerment and inclusivity.
Responsibilities:
- Represent Gymshark’s culture and values, acting as a passionate advocate for the brand and inspiring the team to do the same
- Keyholder responsibility to open and close the club, ensuring operational readiness, security, and completion of all opening and closing procedures
- Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of gym management, providing leadership, guidance, and decision‑making to ensure smooth operations and a positive member experience
- Assist gym management with day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient execution of daily tasks and contributing to strategic goals
- Lead by example, motivating the team to achieve goals while setting the standard for exceptional member service and operational excellence
- Collaborate with gym management to support and execute initiatives and special projects that align with business goals and brand standards
- Bring positivity, energy, and fun to the workplace, helping to create a motivated and engaged team environment
Required Qualifications:
- Leadership – Ability to lead, support, and coach a diverse team to achieve shared goals
- Key Holder– Minimum of one year of experience as a keyholder, with demonstrated responsibility for opening and closing operations
- Customer Service Excellence – Strong ability to deliver friendly, welcoming, and high-quality service, ensuring a positive member and guest experience
- Communication Skills – Clear verbal and written communication skills to effectively assist members and guests, explain products or services, and collaborate with team members
- Problem-Solving – Ability to handle member and guest inquiries or issues calmly and professionally, delivering quick and effective solutions
- Adaptability & Multitasking – Comfortable adjusting to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
- Teamwork – Collaborative, supportive, and committed to team success and high‑quality service
- Attention to Detail – Commitment to cleanliness, organization, accuracy, and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment

- Flexible Availability – Available to work early mornings, weekends, holidays, and peak gym hours as needed
- Physical Requirements – Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods, and to lift up to 50 lbs as needed, with or without reasonable accommodation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply; Spanish proficiency is highly valued
- CPR Certified
