Job Description
Summary: Guidewire Software is a leader in insurance technology, and they are seeking a Go To Market AI Engineer Intern to support their global business operations. In this role, you will work on AI automation initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the development of AI-enabled solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with BizTech and cross-functional teams to design, build, and integrate AI-enabled automations and solutions that drive operational excellence and support Guidewire’s business priorities
- Assist in implementing and consuming AI and GenAI capabilities, contributing to engineering standards, tooling, and the expansion of Guidewire’s Agentic Platform and citizen developer initiatives
- Participate in Agile delivery practices, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, to ensure outcome-oriented and efficient project execution
- Document integration designs, workflows, and learnings to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
- Help optimize engineering resources, focusing on Python and automation to reduce manual tasks and enhance productivity
- Support the development of self-service dashboards and data-driven decision-making tools for business technology teams
- Engage in secure, responsible use of AI and data, contributing to Guidewire’s culture of innovation and balanced risk management
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to embrace AI and apply it to your current role as well as data-driven insights to drive innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field
- Basic understanding of APIs and integration concepts
- Working knowledge of Python, Java, or TypeScript (academic or project experience is sufficient)
- Familiarity with JSON and XML data formats
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and eagerness to learn in a team environment
- Interest in AI, GenAI, and automation technologies
- Demonstrated ability to embrace AI and apply it to your current role as well as data-driven insights to drive innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of AI/ML concepts or GenAI tools
- Familiarity with cloud services and AI frameworks, such as AWS (Lambda, S3, API Gateway) or Google Vertex AI
