Responsibilities
Teach personal care skills step by step (hygiene, shaving, hair, dressing, showering,
toileting) using consistent routines and high repetition
Teach home skills step by step (changing bed linens, laundry, feeding his service dog,
and running the Roomba), using the same consistent routines and high repetition
Provide partner-assisted communication with his eye-gaze and iPad AAC system
throughout the day, and build his independent use
Perform suctioning, G-tube feedings, G-tube medication administration, and clean
intermittent catheterization (training and certification provided)
Support him getting to, from, and taking part in medical appointments
Attend PT, OT, and speech therapy appointments with him and a parent, and carry out
his therapists' home exercise programs to build the preparatory skills behind his daily
living and communication goals

and use his adaptive equipment safely, including a wheelchair, gait trainer, stander,
adaptive bike, and Rifton bathing and support equipment
Help a parent secure him in a wheelchair van with ramp and tie-downs
Support him two days a week in a service club at a therapeutic riding center, helping
maintain the stables, paddocks, and arena and prepare horses for riders, and support
his communication with peers and club leaders, including at the club's monthly social
events such as bowling, holiday parties, and movies
Plan and support community and social activities, including therapeutic riding,
adaptive soccer, church, outings with friends, and swimming as part of a two-person
team
Help him create and post fashion content on social media
Follow his Individual Support Plan (ISP), document daily progress, and communicate
with the family and Guardian team
Requirements
