Job Description
Summary: GTE Financial is a leading organization in the financial services sector, and they are seeking a Product Manager Intern to join their marketing team. This internship offers a chance to engage in various projects focused on digital marketing, community engagement, and marketing process improvement, providing a holistic view of marketing efforts and their impact.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the optimization of marketing processes and learn about product marketing
- Assist with digital marketing efforts, including advertising campaigns and content creation, with an opportunity to learn about analytics and optimization
- Get involved in email marketing and web content strategies to enhance user engagement and experience
- Support initiatives to strengthen community ties and improve GTE Financials’ presence and impact within the community
- Engage in two group projects that will be implemented across the credit union, allowing you to contribute significantly to our future and showcase your learnings
- Play an integral role in the GTE Scholarship Program, helping to facilitate, support, and present to GTE Board Members
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Enrolled in an accredited University
- Must submit a cover letter, resume, and transcripts, and provide three references
- Demonstration of extra-curricular and community service activities
- Demonstrated practical judgment in making decisions
- Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
- Effective verbal communication and writing/documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team member while using discretion in making decisions and sound judgment in solving problems
- Ability to think strategically and assess impacts on an enterprise-wide basis
- Ability to abide by deadlines for project completion
- Ability to present a professional image when working with management, as well as in a professional setting. Associations and other external interactions on behalf of GTE Financial
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and works well independently
- Networking experience or classroom/IT Certification equivalent
- Must demonstrate a functional knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act in addition to other Federal laws, including but not limited to the U.S. Patriot Act, Office of Foreign Assets & Control, Anti-Money Laundering, Right to Financial Privacy Act, and the Bank Bribery Act

- Some positions will require performance standards to be met to qualify for alternative work arrangements
- Required to have power and high-speed internet over 100MB (minimum)
- Video capability (connection of 1.5 Mbps up and down recommended)
- Candidates must provide and meet all technical requirements prior to the first day of training
- Hybrid candidates must live within driving distance of the office location and be able to regularly commute to and from the office location as needed
- Remote candidates must be able to attend on-premises meetings as required and/or requested
