We're looking for an experienced AI/Automation Manager who thrives on building systems, leading technical teams, and driving operational efficiency through automation.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The AI/Automation Manager is responsible for leading our automation department, managing automation specialists, and ensuring the successful delivery of automation projects that improve both internal operations and client services.

You'll oversee automation requests from intake through completion, prioritize projects, maintain documentation standards, improve system reliability, and collaborate with department leaders to identify new opportunities for automation.

This is a leadership role for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with team management and process improvement.

This is a U.S.-based, in-office first leadership role with hybrid flexibility:

• In-office: Monday, Wednesday & Friday
• Work from home: Tuesday & Thursday
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead, coach, and hold the AI/Automation team accountable for performance and results.
• Manage the automation backlog by prioritizing projects, support requests, and deadlines.
• Oversee the successful delivery of automation initiatives from planning through implementation.
• Ensure automation systems are reliable, scalable, well-tested, and properly documented.
• Continuously improve internal processes, automation standards, and operational efficiency.
• Manage and support Facebook, Google Ads, and GoHighLevel (GHL) automation tickets and related technical requests.
• Build and maintain AI-assisted workflows that improve business operations.
• Collaborate with leadership and department teams to identify automation opportunities and implement solutions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven managerial experience leading a global team, managing priorities, and ensuring projects are completed on time while consistently meeting deadlines.
• Strong experience building, implementing, and managing automation systems and workflows.
• Experience leading technical projects from planning through completion.
• Strong experience preferred with:
• n8n (preferred; more heavily weighted than Zapier)
• Zapier
• HighLevel (GHL)
• Supabase
• Vercel
• API integrations and scripting
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, improve system reliability, and create scalable solutions.
• Strong documentation skills with the ability to create clear processes, SOPs, and technical documentation.

EXPECTED SKILLS

• Strong proficiency with Google Sheets and spreadsheet-based workflows.
• Daily use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Manus.
• Ability to effectively prompt AI tools, troubleshoot issues, and build AI-assisted workflows.
• Strong understanding of automation strategy, process optimization, and operational efficiency.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical team members.

• Automation certifications or advanced technical training.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred but not required).
• Experience managing automation teams or technical operations teams.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, growth-focused company environment.
