Summary: Grow Financial Federal Credit Union is a member-owned credit union dedicated to serving its members and local communities. They are seeking an Accounting Summer Intern who will learn to perform duties as an Accountant with a focus on General Ledger Accounting/Budget while meeting regularly with the VP of Accounting to discuss progress. Responsibilities: - Learn to perform duties as an Accountant progressing with a General Ledger Accounting/Budget focus - Meet on a regular basis with the VP Accounting to discuss progress Required Qualifications: - Must be currently enrolled as a student with a degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university at time of internship - Required Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher - Successful completion of Intermediate Accounting I - Working knowledge of office equipment, including PC - Must have high proficiency in Excel - Must be able to sit for extended periods of time - Must be able to read, write, speak and type English - Must be able to hear and use a telephone - This role is fully remote, with the option to work from our HQ or retail locations - Must be able and willing to collaborate on camera via Microsoft Teams and Cisco WebEx - Standard Business hours are 800am- 500pm, Monday- Friday - Interns will have flexibility around school schedules - Please note schedule will not exceed 29hrs/week Required Skills: Accounting degree, Accounting I, Excel proficiency Important Skills: PC knowledge Nice-to-Have Skills: English language
