- Job Summary
- The QA/QC Specialist at Dupod Industries supports the effective implementation of quality assurance and quality control processes across project sites. The role focuses on assisting senior QA/QC engineers in inspections, documentation, testing coordination, and monitoring site activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and applicable standards. The inspector plays a key role in maintaining accurate quality records, identifying potential non‑conformances, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage quality inspections for construction activities, manufacturing processes, and material deliveries to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, applicable standards, and project requirements.
- Implement, monitor, and continuously improve QA/QC processes, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and quality control procedures across project sites and fabrication facilities.
- Coordinate and facilitate inspections with clients, consultants, authorities, subcontractors, suppliers, and third-party testing agencies, ensuring timely approvals and successful outcomes.
- Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective and preventive actions, root cause investigations, and quality improvement initiatives to mitigate risks and enhance project performance.
- Review and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, test records, material approvals, quality dossiers, commissioning documentation, and project closeout deliverables.
- Monitor quality performance through audits, site surveillance, reporting, and trend analysis, providing recommendations to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with project, engineering, production, and procurement teams to promote a culture of quality, support training initiatives, and ensure compliance with the Company's Quality Management System and ISO standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in sites QA/QC role within construction or engineering projects.
- Practical exposure to site inspections, material inspections, NCR tracking, and testing coordination is required.
- Diploma or Degree from a professional institution – Required.
- Bachelor degree in Engineering (Architecture, Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical)
- Solid understanding of QA/QC procedures, ITPs, method statements, and inspection processes.
- Familiarity with construction drawings, material submittals, and testing requirements.
- Knowledge of quality documentation control and record‑keeping practices.
- Exposure to third‑party testing laboratories and authority inspections is an advantage.
