Job Description
Summary: Greenworks is a rapidly growing global manufacturer of residential and commercial products, leading the charge toward a more powerful and sustainable future. The Kitting Technician is responsible for kitting and de-kitting finished goods, problem-solving inventory issues, and ensuring accurate inventory levels to support operations.
Responsibilities:
- Execute kitting orders by required date
- Accurately label products in accordance with SOPs
- Maintain and update inventory records in all systems
- Serve as the backup to the Inventory Lead
- Support inventory responsibilities at all Greenworks North America warehouses
- Support Inventory manager in systematically managing inventory moves, discrepancies, and adjustments
- Support accurate Inventory flow for kitting and reconditioning projects, to include receipt of finish goods in a timely manner
- Audit warehouse inventory and root cause variances
- Identify warehouse process issues and support development of work instructions to improve processes
- Implement visual workspace standards to clearly define inventory vs. non-inventory items
- Coordinate with cycle count team to conduct scheduled cycle counts on a defined basis
- Support physical inventory audits on a defined cadence within company standards
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or relevant qualification
- 1-3 years' experience in an inventory control related role
- Proven understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control processes
- Strong analytical, root cause, and problem-solving skills utilizing Microsoft Excel, Access, or other related software tools
- Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic fast-paced, changing, and demanding work environment
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and influencing skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of SAP B1, Manhattan WMS, SAP EPW
- Associates Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
