Summary: Greenlight Financial Technology is the leading family fintech company on a mission to help parents raise financially smart kids. They are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Product Manager Intern for an intensive 8-week summer program, where the intern will collaborate on projects to impact their product and families while gaining hands-on product management experience. Responsibilities: - Drive the lifecycle of features from concept to launch, including requirements gathering, design, and collaborating with the engineering team during grooming and development - Work closely with product domain teams across the organization to understand new features, define how they should be supported, and ensure all necessary APIs are in place to enable required customer support tooling - Fully immerse yourself in the day-to-day operations of an Agile development team, participating in all ceremonies (e.g., stand-ups, retrospectives) - Assist the full-time Product Manager in writing development stories, guiding sprint planning, helping to define priorities and scope to ensure the engineering team is set up for success - Actively engage with the Customer Service, Risk and Compliance Operations teams to collect feedback, observe their workflow, and formulate data-driven solutions to the top pain points they experience with their current tooling Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - A 3.0 GPA or higher - A strong passion for technology, problem-solving, and improving user experiences - Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills - Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and thrive in a dynamic, collaborative team environment Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus Required Skills: Agile methodologies, Product management, Requirements gathering, Sprint planning, Data-driven problem solving Benefits: Direct mentorship from an experienced, full-time Product Manager., Opportunities to ship real features that will be used daily by our Customer Support agents, providing tangible business value., Gain invaluable experience in the FinTech industry and the specific challenges of enterprise internal tools.
