Veterinary Director - Greencross Kawana… at Greencross… · Minyama

Company Description

Bring your ideas for the clinic. Bring your ambitions for yourself.

Perhaps you’re already a Veterinary Director and know what helps a team do its best work. Or perhaps you’re an experienced vet who enjoys guiding colleagues, sharing knowledge and taking the lead, and you’re ready to make that a bigger part of your role.

At Greencross Kawana Waters, there’s an opportunity to put that experience into practice. You’ll join an established, welcoming team on the Sunshine Coast, with the scope to influence how the clinic works, develop your colleagues and continue growing as a clinician.

A role you can shape

As Veterinary Director, you’ll help set the clinical direction of the practice and create an environment where people feel confident asking questions, discussing cases and building their skills.

You’ll have autonomy to bring ideas forward, with an Area Manager and Regional Clinical Director to help you turn them into action. You’ll also be connected to fellow Veterinary Directors across Greencross, giving you experienced peers to exchange ideas with and work through challenges alongside.

Mentoring will be a rewarding part of the role, particularly for colleagues earlier in their careers. Your guidance can make a lasting difference to how they approach a difficult case, develop their judgement and grow in confidence.

The facilities to support your clinical work

Located next to Petbarn, the clinic offers:

• Dedicated consulting and surgical spaces

• A separate feline waiting area and separate cat and dog wards

• Ultrasound, digital radiography and an IM3 dental setup

• Access to AI note-taking technology and clinical support across the Greencross network

You’ll be joining a team with a down-to-earth approach, where colleagues look out for each other and enjoy working together.

Keep developing, while helping others grow

Your own learning remains a priority. Funded CPD, study leave and access to the Greencross Clinical Conference give you opportunities to pursue your clinical interests and develop your capabilities.

The package also includes:

• An attractive salary based on your experience

• A performance based incentive

• Annual leave and dedicated study leave

• Mental health and wellbeing support, including counselling through Telus

• Visa and relocation assistance for eligible international vets

Make the Sunshine Coast part of your everyday

An ocean swim before work. A beach walk at the end of the day. A weekend exploring the hinterland or catching up with friends in Noosa.

Kawana Waters puts those possibilities close to home, alongside schools, cafés and the conveniences that make settling into a new area easier. If you’re considering relocating, there’s plenty here to build a life around.

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for an experienced veterinarian with strong medical and/or surgical skills, sound clinical judgement and an interest in helping others succeed.

You’ll enjoy sharing knowledge, supporting less-experienced colleagues and contributing to the way a team works. Previous Veterinary Director experience is welcome, and we’re equally interested in experienced vets ready to step into leadership. Eligibility for veterinary registration in Australia is required.
