Greencross Limited→
Veterinary Associate - Greencross Joondalup at Greencross… · Joondalup
Job Description
Company Description
Joondalup is a clinic built on relationships. With our clients, with their pets, and with each other. We’ve been part of this community since 2018, and many of the pets we see today are ones we’ve cared for from their very first visit. That continuity matters to us, and it shapes how we practise.
We’re looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join us in a full-time role, with genuine openness to part-time arrangements if that suits your life right now.
The clinic you’re joining
We’re a busy, well-established small animal practice with a loyal client base and a strong sense of pride in our work. Our days are structured to work well. Dedicated surgery days, supported consult blocks, and a team that understands how to keep the clinic flowing.
We value medicine done properly, communication done kindly, and a workplace where people feel safe to ask questions and lean on each other.
What makes Joondalup different
A team that prioritises long-term client relationships, not transactional care
Consistent caseload with variety, pace and clinical interest
Experience with brachycephalic airway surgeries, alongside solid GP medicine
Clients who trust our recommendations and are invested in their pets’ care
Present, hands-on leadership that supports clinical decision-making
Who will thrive here
You’ll feel at home if you:
Are confident practising GP medicine and enjoy being hands-on
Value teamwork and are comfortable being a steady presence in the clinic
Like mentoring, supporting or simply being someone others can lean on
Communicate clearly with clients and build rapport naturally
Want to be part of a clinic where standards matter and people care
We’re less focused on how long you’ve been out and more interested in how you show up. Confidence, judgement and a calm approach go a long way here.
One honest reality
We’re a popular clinic and our days are full. That suits vets who like momentum and purpose, and who take satisfaction in a well-run, busy day where everyone pulls together.
What we back you with
Flexible working arrangements across full-time, part-time or casual
Structured days that protect surgery and consult time
Strong nursing and support team utilisation
Heidi AI note taking to reduce admin load
Paid parental leave and wellbeing support
Paid AVA membership or registration
World-class CE, including conferences, workshops and external training
Discounts across Greencross clinics, ARH and Petbarn
Relocation support if you’re moving from interstate or overseas
Why Joondalup
Beautiful coastline just minutes away, easy access to public transport, and a location that offers the best of coastal living with straightforward city access. It’s a place where work fits well with life outside the clinic.
