Position at a Glance Employment: Part-Time Shift: Days Hours: 6:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Schedule: 3–4 shifts per week Location: Healthcare - Southfield Village, South Bend, IN Pay & Shift Premiums Base pay: $19.46–$21.74 per hour Additional compensation includes: +$2.00/hour weekend differential What You'll Bring to the Role As a CNA, you’ll provide hands-on assistance while building meaningful relationships with the residents you care for. You’ll help with everyday needs, pay attention to changes in condition, and make sure residents feel heard, valued, and respected. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and other daily activities Providing attentive care that promotes dignity, privacy, comfort, and independence Helping residents get ready for their day and participate in daily activities Observing residents and promptly reporting changes or concerns to nursing staff Working closely with nurses and fellow caregivers to coordinate resident care Helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment Building positive relationships with residents through dependable, compassionate service The Kind of Teammate We Need We’re looking for someone who takes pride in caring for others and understands the importance of reliability in senior care. You should have: A current Indiana Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification A genuine interest in working with older adults A dependable, caring, and team-oriented approach Strong communication skills The ability to work respectfully with residents, families, and coworkers Previous senior care experience is valuable, but what matters most is your commitment to providing thoughtful, respectful care.
