We are seeking energetic, welcoming YouTube Campus Hosts to lead our official YouTube live chat and build a thriving broadcast community.

Role Overview

The YouTube Campus Host & Moderator serves as the primary conversational and hospitable voice representing Greater IMPACT Church in the YouTube Live chat during Sunday service broadcasts and Premieres. YouTube is often the first place seekers and newcomers encounter our ministry; having an active, encouraging host transforms a passive video viewing experience into an interactive, faith-building community.

You will welcome viewers, pin important ministry links and announcements, highlight key sermon points, interact with viewer questions, and moderate comments to preserve an uplifting and spiritually edifying space.

Scope of Service & Key Responsibilities

Live Broadcast Hosting: Be present in the YouTube Live stream chat 15 minutes before broadcast begins (9:45 AM EST) through post-service sign-off.

Active Chat Engagement: Greet viewers by name as they log on, ask thought-provoking discussion questions aligned with the sermon, and encourage active commenting, likes, and shares.

Link & Resource Distribution: Pin and drop timely links to the digital Connection Card, sermon notes, online giving, prayer request forms, and website next steps.

Subscriber & Community Growth: Encourage new viewers to subscribe to the channel, click the notification bell, and invite friends and family to join future broadcasts.

Chat Moderation & Safeguarding: Act as an authorized channel moderator—monitoring live chat and comments to hide spam, delete inappropriate or derogatory remarks, and ensure a safe, family-friendly atmosphere.

Team Collaboration: Attend occasional in-person host team gatherings and campus syncs in Reading, PA.

Qualifications & Requirements

Proximity Requirement: **Must reside within 10 miles of Reading, PA** for occasional in-person team meetings, volunteer huddles, and campus syncs.

Familiarity with YouTube: Comfortable with YouTube Live features (live chat, Super Chats/Stickers, pinning comments, moderating users, channel formatting).

Positive & Encouraging Tone: Passionate about digital evangelism with an uplifting, conversational, and gracious tone of voice.

Spiritual Alignment: A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and commitment to embodying the love and grace of the Gospel in digital public squares.

Reliable Technology: Reliable computer or tablet with high-speed internet access.

Sunday Availability: Available during Sunday morning service broadcast hours (approximately 9:45 AM – 11:30 AM EST).
