Data Conversion Developer at Grant Street Group in Remote

Summary: Grant Street Group is looking for data conversion developers with strong programming and database skills. The role involves writing data conversion code and debugging data to ensure a smooth migration to their TaxSys software. Responsibilities: - Write data conversion code to migrate clients to our TaxSys software - Debug data to fix problems with the last 10% of the data - Combine technical skills with domain knowledge to track down elusive errors in the clients’ data - Work in a team paired with a data analyst to validate the converted data and gather feedback from clients Required Qualifications: - At least 1 year of experience in writing production-quality code (Perl experience preferred) - Thorough knowledge of relational databases and SQL (MySQL experience a bonus) Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in Linux - Experience in BASH shell scripting - Experience in Makefiles - Experience in Docker or alternatives for container management Required Skills: Perl, SQL, Relational databases, MySQL, Linux, BASH shell scripting, Makefiles, Docker
