Job Description
Summary: Grand Valley State University is seeking a Project Coordinator for the Pew Faculty Teaching and Learning Center. This role is essential for planning, executing, and completing various professional development programs while managing logistics and maintaining documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Program Manager to plan and execute programming and services of the Center, with the expectation that they will lead select program planning and execution
- Maintain, process, and present Center activity data using database and spreadsheet applications
- Design and manage the Center’s website and LinkedIn promotion
- Collaborate with Center staff on marketing, program planning, assessment and strategic planning activities
- Supervise student colleague work on a project basis
- As part of our deeply collaborative approach, maintain strong relationships and frequent communications with campus partners
- Perform other duties as required/assigned by leadership
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Professional experience in higher education
- Demonstrated experience planning and executing collaborative projects
- Ability to work independently to organize and prioritize workload
- Demonstrated attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact collaboratively and professionally with diverse groups and constituencies throughout the university
- Intercultural understanding and awareness required to contribute to a healthy, inclusive working and learning environment
- Experience with website content production, design, and layout
- Demonstrated experience with a variety of software applications (e.g. Microsoft365, Adobe Acrobat, social media, project management)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with teaching and learning issues in higher education
- Demonstrated experience with faculty professional development
- Educational development experience
