Summary: Gracious Hospitality Management is a prestigious hospitality company known for its Michelin-starred restaurants. The Finance & Data Analyst will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and providing data-driven insights to support strategic decisions within the organization. Responsibilities: - Own the daily, weekly and monthly reporting package – explain variances to budget, update rolling forecast, and surface actionable insights for leadership - Build and maintain financial models, projections, valuations, and ROI analyses to support strategic decision-making - Build and maintain dashboards tailored to different management levels - Make data-driven recommendations to improve efficiency and profitability across locations using data - Utilize AI & BI tools and techniques (e.g., Claude, Tableau) to stand up dashboards and support data analysis, automation, and insight generation - Partner with GMs, the culinary team, and senior leadership to build annual operating budgets, marketing budgets, and capex budgets - Update the 5-year business model, keeping assumptions current as the portfolio evolves - Create detailed financial pro formas for new restaurant investment opportunities and management opportunities, including returns analysis and capital structure analyses - Build CIMs and investor presentations for future opportunities, crafting compelling investment narratives - Assist in the preparation of materials for lender and investor reporting, ensuring compliance with any applicable financial covenants or reporting obligations - Support the preparation of board materials, investor updates, and other executive-level presentations - Support new systems implementations (POS, scheduling, inventory, BI tools) - Participate in cross-functional projects spanning operations, marketing, and finance, serving as the analytical resource for the broader team - Ad hoc analysis and special projects as needed - Upholds GHM's mission to delight our customers - Consistently performs actions that positively impact the customer experience, and identifies opportunities to delight in all planning and processes - Display knowledge of the GHM brand, culture, and product - Demonstrate the Company’s core values of people, learning, culture, relationships, sustainability, and stewardship - Maintain professional and respectful behavior when in contact with guests, management, and teammates - Present a polished personal appearance, adhering to company grooming standards outlined in the Employee Handbook - Adhere to all company policies and procedures outlined in handbooks, manuals, and other company documents - Attend and participate in all scheduled meetings, training sessions, and continuing education activities - Must be reachable by email and phone - Take care of all company property - Maintain safety standards - Comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related analytical field - 1–3 years of experience in an analytical or FP&A role; background in corporate finance, investment banking, management consulting, or restaurant/hospitality finance preferred, but not required - Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) - Basic data querying skills is a plus to build automated dashboards and trackers - Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with BI tools (Tableau, etc.) or restaurant tech platforms (Restaurant365, SpotOn, Meez etc.) a plus - Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to translate numbers into a clear narrative - Excellent written and verbal communication skills – able to present findings concisely to both operators and executives - Highly organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, hospitality environment - Collaborative, curious, and open to rolling up your sleeves Required Skills: Financial Reporting, Financial Analysis, Budgeting Important Skills: Excel/Google Sheets, BI Tools, Analytical Skills Benefits: Structured, generous compensation for all positions, Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, Flexible Spending Account/Health Savings Account, Commuter Benefits, Referral Bonus Program, Career Advancement Opportunities, Employee Recognition Awards, Paid Time Off
