They are seeking two summer Engineering Interns to provide support in engineering operations, field activities, and document management within a technical environment. Responsibilities: - Organizing and digitizing historical documents and engineering drawings into company systems - Supporting technicians and engineers with field activities and shop floor fabrication tasks - Drafting memos, procedures, and technical documents for the Engineering Team in support of ongoing operations Required Qualifications: - Graduating high school seniors pursuing a science or engineering field - Current university students pursuing an engineering field - General physical requirements needed to perform the essential functions of this job may vary based on location of assignment - Sedentary Work – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body - Typing, communicating, repetitive motions - Close visual acuity to prepare and analyze data, view computer monitors and read - May need to view presentation screens and other visual aids in a virtual setting - Inside environmental conditions with protection from outside elements Preferred Qualifications: - Mechanical, Aerospace or Physics Background Preferred Required Skills: Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Engineering Operations, Fabrication Support, Document Management, Engineering Drawings
