Summary: Gotion Inc. is a leading power battery technology company based in Silicon Valley, CA, focused on innovating electric vehicle and energy storage technologies. The Construction Intern will support the Construction and Facilities team in planning and executing large-scale industrial construction projects, providing hands-on experience in site operations, project management, and safety compliance. Responsibilities: - Assist project managers and superintendents with daily construction activities and site coordination - Support tracking of project schedules, milestones, and deliverables - Help review construction drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders - Conduct site walks to document progress, safety compliance, and quality standards - Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal engineering teams - Assist in preparing reports, meeting notes, and project updates - Support inventory tracking of materials and equipment deliveries - Ensure adherence to OSHA and company safety standards at all times Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field - Strong organizational and communication skills - Ability to work in a field-based construction environment - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) - Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work in a team-oriented environment Preferred Qualifications: - Basic understanding of construction drawings and project documentation Required Skills: Construction project management, Construction drawings, Project documentation, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Safety compliance, OSHA standards
