Summary: Gorman & Company is seeking a Data Analyst Intern to join their team. This internship offers hands-on experience in data auditing, system improvements, and supporting process enhancements across the company. Responsibilities: - Support the Development Operations team with data auditing, entry, and system improvements - Build and maintain Smartsheet grids, reports, dashboards, and forms - Create and troubleshoot formulas, including cross-sheet references and nested logic - Assist in launching new systems and implementing process updates across teams - Identify data inconsistencies and backend issues, and help resolve them - Develop and manage automated workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy - Design dashboards that translate complex data into clear, user-friendly insights - Ensure data integrity through organization, version control, and consistent structure - Attend internal meetings to support reporting and system-related initiatives Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field - Experience or interest in working with backend systems and data structures - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify patterns and troubleshoot issues - High attention to detail and a focus on data accuracy - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Strong organizational and communication skills - Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Smartsheet is preferred, but not required - Advanced Excel skills Required Skills: Data auditing, Data entry, Smartsheet, Excel, Backend systems, Data structures, Automated workflows, Dashboard design, Data integrity
