Security Supervisor

Location: Nassau, New Providence

Position Statement:

Under the direction of the Controller, this position is concerned with the overall supervision and direction of the Security and Pool and Beach Department. Directs and supervises personnel involved in Security, property and guest protection and accident programs for the hotel, its guests, and employees.

Position Summary:

• Supervises and directs the employees of the Security and Pool and Beach Department
• Secure the premises and personnel by patrolling the property and monitoring surveillance equipment. Address all incidents, that occur on property and produce accurate reports.
• Inspect buildings, equipment, and access points, permitting entry.
• Be fully versed in all procedures, Fire Prevention, Patrol and Report System, Emergency, Hurricane and Medical.
• Take a leadership role in monitoring guest experiences and take the necessary actions to resolve problems that may arise.
• Prevent loss and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.
• Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Ensure the security, safety and well-being of all personnel, visitors, and the premises.
• 
  Collect and enter the database of all Lost and Found items.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience in a hospitality setting.
• Ability to lead and support the team.
• Amazing time management skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Well-groomed, professional appearance.
• A team player with a can-do attitude
• Goldwynn operates a twenty-four (24) hour business. Therefore, you will be scheduled to work shifts, which may change from time to time.
