Assembly Technician at Globe Food Equipment in Moraine, OH

Globe Food Equipment is seeking a motivated Assembly Technician to join our experienced team of Assemblers. The primary function for this position is to assemble mechanical and electrical components for commercial foodservice equipment while meeting established quality and production standards. This hands-on role also supports packaging, material handling, inventory activities, and continuous improvement efforts in a safe manufacturing environment.

Essential Functions

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components by following work instructions, assembly drawings, and production documentation.
• Pick, stage, and replenish materials to support assembly and packaging operations.
• Inspect assemblies for quality and perform approved rework as needed.
• Package finished equipment for shipment using approved packaging methods and material-handling equipment.
• Maintain organized and adequately stocked workstations to support production flow.
• Perform inventory transactions, cycle counts, and material movement activities as assigned.
• Safely operate production tools and material-handling equipment and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Abilities - Required

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred but not required
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and assembly documentation.
• Maintain quality, accuracy, and productivity standards while performing assigned tasks.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds; move heavier items with assistance or approved lifting equipment.
• Stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, climb, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday.
• Lift and position materials above shoulder height and at floor level.
• Safely operate material-handling equipment and perform assembly work requiring manual dexterity
